The first Pokémon Research Exhibition to be hosted outside of Japan opens at the Resorts World Sentosa's S.E.A. Aquarium in Singapore. The exhibition invites members of the public to become “scientific researchers” for a day to find out more about the different critters that fill the Pokédex. The exhibition spans 1,000 square metres and will open daily from 10am to 7pm until Jan 2. Pikachu, decked out in a lab coat, will also be popping by to greet visitors.

Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel

In this latest cinematic adventure, Ash meets the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion when it crashes down from the sky, creating a cloud of dust — and a mysterious force binds the two of them together! Volcanion despises humans and tries to get away, but it's forced to drag Ash along as it continues its rescue mission. They arrive in a city of cogs and gears, where a corrupt minister has stolen the ultimate invention: the Artificial Pokémon Magearna, created 500 years ago. He plans to use its mysterious power to take control of this mechanical kingdom! Can Ash and Volcanion work together to rescue Magearna? One of the greatest battles in Pokémon history is about to unfold!

Pokémon Café @ EwF — a concept by PARCO

PARCO (Singapore) Pte Ltd is excited to bring the Pokémon café to Singapore once again. Following the roaring success this summer, the café at Bugis Junction 4F is a collaboration with local F&B operator EwF (Everything with Fries). The 3-month pop-up café will be the world’s first café to tie up with a newly launched Pokémon game, “Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon”. New menus, interior designs and exclusive Pokémon café original products have been created based on the game. The “Poké Ball” mug, a favourite of previous customers, has also been upgraded to a “Great Ball” mug, only available with purchase for fans at the café.

Pokémon Run

A new adventure awaits for aspiring Pokémon trainers and themed run lovers alike! Pokémon Run SG, Southeast Asia’s first-ever Pokémon-themed fun run will take place on 14 January 2017, at the Promontory @ Marina Bay. Jointly organised by Avex Asia and Infinitus Productions, Pokémon Run SG aims to promote bonding and a healthier lifestyle across all ages through Pokémon. The run brings to life the journey to train to be a Pokémon Master, against the backdrop of Singapore’s waterfront cityscape. Runners will step into the “running” shoes of the aspiring trainer and spot various Pokémon along the route.
